On a beautiful bright chilly January morning

Hard to leave the computer screen and the warmth of a log fire behind but glad I did as once out into the winter sunshine the walk to Ravenswick yesterday was glorious.

The guard house is going up now at the entrance and will help mask views of the hall from the road.

Also on the road boundary is the bat barn. With the footings now in work has begun putting a new exterior facing to it. This will be a garden store and bats will be welcomed back upstairs!

The pool room for the outside swimming pool in the walled garden is making rapid progress.
