Morning chill at Ravenswick Hall

I took the dog early this morning to check on progress. Two workers were kicking around the rubble clearly waiting for colleagues to arrive. Here’s the current scene:

Hyacinths, planted by who knows who - their final flourish doubtless soon to disappear

Ravenswick Hall - east wall of the walled garden

The east wall of the walled garden still standing – to be restored?

Ravenswick Hall - peeping through between the trees - just days to go until demolition

Ravenswick Hall - when this is demolished how much of the stonework will be reclaimed/ re-used?

Ravenswick Hall - much of the materials being taken away are being stored locally
